Slide notes: In this tutorial we will see how we capture Fixed Stock Prices, and we are now looking at Stock Item 2008, which uses a Fixed Price only when issued from Store 01.

Slide notes: Notice on row 1 that this Item is priced as a Fixed Price Item when Issued from Store 01. Whereas from the other Stores it is priced on the average cost basis. It is important to note that the price indicators here affect only the issuing of Stock for internal consumption. Any sales of a Stock Item to a Customer is priced from the Retail Catalogue. Not from here. The internal pricing methods are very flexible for average costing, on which a markup can be used, so the Fixed Price option is actually rarely used. Nevertheless, when it is used, we need to be able to indicate the latest Fixed Price for the Item, and we will now look at how this is done.
