are looking at Business Profiles and in this example we are looking at the
AR/Debtors Business Profile. |

We can Access the
Business Profiles for this User from the User Master Record and in this case
we choose “Business Profiles”. Then we select “AR
Debtors”. |
A User is able to use
the Debtors Application without having a Profile, but when it comes to
certain specific functions, the User may not be able to do those. Now on this new Profile,
I am saying that this User is not allowed to open New AR Debtors Accounts |

And
is also not allowed to Close any existing accounts. |

However
it does get a Standard Matching Option, although we do not check “Perform Match Re-Build”, because
that would be for All Accounts. That is not allowed to
do, according to the Profile, as we set it up. Note that all these
fields also have online Help, if you want to check further what the meaning
of each of these Privileges would be. |
